Google Chrome - the following plug-in has crashed

    Shockwave Flash.

I keep getting this now every time I open a page with animated/video content.

In the past I have been able to get round it by using the IE plug-in tool, but since updating to the latest version of Chrome - that crashes once Shockwave Flash crashes.

If I open up IE8 and it starts (once I have shaved, walked the dog, and split several atoms) I don't have this issue. But who wants to use IE if Chrome works properly?

Anyone else experiencing this found a cure? Google tech sites are full of complaints, but no-one has posted a fix :(

    Cheers

    Windows XP SP3
    AMD Athlon 1.8 Gig
    1024 MB RAM

(I know - it's slow and old. But are you going to buy me a new computer??)
