Google Chrome

I dont know where to post this.

I just want to use google search again. It used to correct my spelling mistakes when I searched but now it doesnt.

For example if I use the computer I am on and search google chrome for "blakc person" it wouldnt correct it to "black person" and instead continue the search.

However I can go to my other computer and do the same search and google chrome will correct it. I have the options enabled for spell check.

I have searched endlessly wanting to find any information on this issue but I have found NOTHING. Is there even a fix for this or restore the computer? Im so pissed off how stupid this issue is and how there is zero info on it so I resorted to posting here.

 

Check this setting:

Chrome menu > Settings > Show advanced settings > Privacy , If checked, unncheck "Use a web service to help resolve spelling errors"
