Google Desktop

I see the other threads about Google desktop above after i entered thread title. I'm posting this for two reasons.

A. Hopefully someone can get some useful knowledge after reading this and gain some insight as to why their Vista gets stuk on the loading screen right before windows log-in.
B. And 2, hopefully someone can answer why google desktop does this.

I've seen at least 45 laptops and desktops come into out little place of business, not able to log-into windows. Sometimes it's because the pc is riddled with viruses, or occassionally a faulty harddrive...but most of the time its google desktop, after uninstalling it in safe mode the PC will log into windows without flaw... Why, i ask someone...why??!! lol anyone know?
