I was trying to help my wife set up her exchange email yesterday on her phone when I did a google search on her Windows 7 laptop to find some quick info on how to do this. After clicking on a link (which I don't know now) the problem began with the google redirects. It happens fast but I noticed Ihavenet before it goes to another site. I also noticed on a page that did not load properly start with 63.209.69.107. Initially, booted into safemode and ran my favorite for this kind of stuff...malwarebytes. However, it did not detect anything. I checked to see if there were any proxy settings selected, and they were not. The redirect happens in all browers (IE, chrome, firefox). I just finished all the steps on the website. Here is all my info. Your help is sorely needed.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

I'm not seeing any signs of this redirect.

Do you know what the below file is for? Please put a copy into a ZIP file and attach to your next message.
    Code:
    2013-04-16 17:35 . 2013-04-16 17:35 98304 --sha-r- c:\windows\system32\qedwipesp.dll
Also do you know what all of the below are? That is are they things that were knowingly installed/configured
    Also please run the below.

Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Note: That JRT may reset your home page to a google default so you will need to restore your home page setting if this happens.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

Thanks a lot for your help. I ran the junkware removal tool and that seems to have done the trick. My wife told me that she is no longer having problems with the redirect. As far as the qedwipesp.dll file, I am not sure what it is for. I am including my junkware log and a zip of this file. Once again, thanks.

Okay then let;s leave that unknown file alone as I have no proof of it being either bad or good. It has no

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Go back to step 4 oof the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. If you are running Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures pointed to by step 6 of the READ ME
for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
