Google Redirect

I have seen a few other posts on the Google Redirect bug/virus/whatever it is, but none of them made very much sense to me. I need help getting rid of this, but i need to know everything it takes from the very beginning. I am completely new here. If I knew how to do ANYTHING at all to fix this problem I wouldn't be here. somebody please help me get rid of this.

EDIT: whenever I type something into Google and click on the searches, it loads a new tab with the url "results5..."
