Ok my question is this. I already use OpenDNS and it has made web sites open faster then before. Ok can I use the Google Accelerator with it?Will it make even faster? Please any help appreciated.

Only one guys opinion, but you really think google or any large corp. is doing something for free to help the general public ( that big campus google has here is not paid for by good will and nice thoughts) .....sorry did not mean to sound mean but I live in CA where the world is pretty much ruled by money (he who has the gold makes the rules)
Rich people get away with crimes that an average guy/gal would/does end up in jail for a long time...bah bah bah (shakes off the negative vibe he has created).........In with the good air out with the bad phew..

All that aside, I still like google and use it daily( along with others)
    and...

.....ooooh look a butterfly.:D..... Petaluma skips away tra la la...singing why can't we be friends...

sorry That does not answer your ? and I apologize for my rant...

I'm not sure about Google's accelerator, but I also use OpenDNS, and use Internet Cyclone Accelerator along with it, no problems at all. And even though my Charter cable internet connection was fairly fast to begin with, (not the best out there, but definitely better than dial-up) I wouldn't see any problems with using both.
Now, as for that guy's opinion in his article, it sounds like one of those guys who wears tinfoil over his entire body, and has covered his entire house and family with it, so the government's spy satellites can't read his thoughts, and zap him to oblivion with their death rays. THAT'S just my opinion, anyway. Then again, maybe he's onto something...naah, maybe not.

Heh, yea. The part of Google offering free software but somehow still pay their employees! Well one avenue they use is they actually sell advertising. A scam for sure.
Sorry I know this has not contributed to this authors thread.

It seems by doing some reading that you can run GWA with other accelerators. If there does seem to be a conflict then you should turn off pre-fetching in GWA....

"However if you would like to run both (to use google's network and proxys) w/o any conflict you should click on the little clock on the toolbars and click
prefs. Turn off perfecting, and say "never check for changes."
This will just use Google's proxy for getting web pages compressed. I
do not have onSpeed so I can not tell you what to change."

kitagal55, I would echo the views of other users who have posted, namely that I would not go down that road and use the Goggle Accelerator.

I am extremely weary of bringing in a 'third party' into the equation. I would also add though that I am weary (probably paranoid) of using third party DNS resolvers ie OpenDNS, TreeWalk since at the end of the day these companies can not only see what you are doing but have the power to direct (redirect) your requests. If you see what I mean.

    Good Luck
