I am experiencing the same problem and cannot load google. I followed your thread upto the point where I was able to load google using the alternative IPs supplied. However, I think I may have a problem with my hosts file. I am attaching a copy of my hijack this log below and would really appreciate if you could spare some time to look at it.

Alpham, did you try any of the other suggestions I susgested in the other thread. Try these, if one doesn't work move on to the next one.

1: Run CCleaner to clear out any cahced 404 pages

2: If you are using a router, power cycle it.

3: If you are using a cable modem, reset it

4: Flush your DNS Cache (ipconfig /flushdns from a command prompt)

5: Reset you web settings (In IE goto Tools --> Reset Web Settings)

WHat message was returned when you flushed your dns cache ?

 

Message received was:

Successfully flushed the dns resolver cache

I also ran "nslookup google.com" and got the following message:

***Can't find server name for address 192.168.0.1: Server failed
***Default servers not available
Server: Unknown
Address 192.168.0.1

Name: google.com
Addresses: 72.14.207.99, 64.233.187.99, 64.233.167.99
