   I assume you mean IE6?
   
   Open the Search sidebar. View --> Explorer Bar --> Search. In the Search sidebar, click Customize. Then click Autosearch settings. On the top drop-down box, choose "Google sites".
   
   If that doesn't work, try installing Google's toolbar and try it again.
