what do you think of it?
"PivX Solutions, LLC released a program appropriately named 'Gopher Smoker'. It will fix the root vulnerability inside of Microsoft Internet Explorer (all versions) that will allow any hacker/cracker to take over your system without even clicking on their malice link."
i didn't know i had a "root vulnerability" inside microsoft internet explorer or anywhere else, come to think of it, i don't know what a root vulnerability is, it sure sounds bad and i sure don't think i want it. someone how knows please shed some light on this for me.

I think they're talking about root certificate vulnerabilities in SSL certificates.

    aaaahhhh

ok, useing what you said i read a bunch of stuff in "help and support center" i understand the root certificate part, but do you think that internet explorer is vulnerable in this area?
it seems like even if so, then you would have to be a persons/programs specific target in order for anything to come of it.
