Grammar Help Please

What would be the correct way to list a band and song in an essay?

Quotes around it?

Italics?

Bold?

For example

Limp Bizkit is the band.

Beyond Blue Eyes is the song.

 

Correctly?

Limp Bizkit
"Behind Blue Eyes"

It seems the only thing necessary to do is to merely place the album title in quotes when using it in a piece of writing. Here are a few various examples from the CD review section of the Detroit News online edition:

single quote marks.......'.....not..."..double quote marks are purely for speach.

 

Sorry to be a pain Laurie, but quoting from E.S. C. Weiner,editor ofthe New Oxford English Dictionary, ' single quotation marks are used for a first quotation; double for a quotation within this; single again for a further quotation inside that.'

Quotation marks (and roman type) are used when citing titles of articles in magazines, chapters of books, poems not published seperately, and songs.

The closing quotation markshould come before all punctuation marks unless these form part of the quotation itself, e.g. Did Nelson really say 'Kiss me Hardy'? but Then she asked 'What is your name?'
