I am willing to buy Radeon 9800 pro which is $193.00 right now on newegg.com
However I was told that Invidia released some new cards which are cheaper but better (something thats ahrd to believe in Americica :) )

Can anyone please give me input on a good graphic card
once again not top of the line and not to expensive

I have been using the radeon 9800 pro for a while now and really like it. It is a solid card and at a good price these days. You really cant go wrong with that one.

What games do you want to play?

the 9800pro is a great card, for certain games.
there currently is no cheaper nVidia card that is better.

nVidia will soon release the 6600 series, which will be better than the 9800, but i have not yet seen a price for them.

if you have any particular games you'd like to play, we can help you decide better.

also check out the benchmarks at The VGA charts III

so you can see how certain cards perform in your games.

The 9800's a great bang for your buck card, go for it.
