    Hi.

My son has a PC with an ABIT TH7 motherboard and an Nvidia Geforce 420 64MB AGP graphics card.

As I had recently upgraded my ATI Radeon 9500 to a 9600 Pro, I thought it would be nice to install the 9500 into his PC.

Once completed, I powered up, only to receive a lot of intermittent bleeps. It didn't even reach the POST stage. The motherboard LED reported an error code 26, but I think this might be a general code when things aren't working. On replacing his original card, everything was back to normal.

Does anyone have any ideas why this card wouldn't be accepted?

    Cheers.

The 9500 has a second power input right? As in it needs a molex connector in addition to the power from the AGP slot? Did you plug that cord in?

If you did plug that in, the only thing I can really see is that the power supply is just too small and can't meet the needs of this new video card. Although I could be over looking something.
