I just installed an eVGA GeForce FX 5200 graphics card in my dimension 3000 computer. The manual says to uninstall the original graphics driver and shut down the computer before installing the new hardware..........I did this.....in safe mode. I removed the old hardware and installed the new. Then I booted the computer and loaded the driver software into the disk drive. FOUND NEW HARDWARE showed up and instead of showing the new (NVIDIA Ge Force FX 5200), it showed the original INTEL 82865G GRAPHICS CONTROLLER.

Now (under my system info) it shows I am running BOTH. Now my computer has a strange purplish hue to it!!!! I have tried adjusting the resolution, color, etc.........and nothing is working to correct this!!! What do I need to do?????? HELP!!!! EVERY TIME I TRY TO UNINSTALL THE OLD GRAPHICS CONTROLLER IT KEEPS POPPING BACK UP.
