Graphics & Lettering WAY too big when I go on net?

Hi.
Thank you for reading this and if you can trying to help me
I am below novice when it comes to the pc so bare with me.

When I go to a site the pages lettering and graphics are way too big.
Iv tried changing the video mode and fonts and nothing helps.
The tool bar/mail and everything else is fine.

The only thing I did was uninstall IE 6.(i installed it last week didnt want it uninstalled it)The problem happened after that.

Can you suggest anything I could try to fix this?

What browser are you using now. If you are using internet explorer try this. Click view on your explorer browser / go down to text size and choose the size text you want.

How did you uninstall IE6? You mean you went back to IE5?

Are you sure you're not using IE6 right now? It sounds as though you followed the instructions above IN IE6, and got the right result IN IE6.

 

You can also easily adjust the text size by holding CTRL and rolling your mousewheel. (unless that is just some plugin that I have and have forgotten about)

also like to know how you uninstalled IE6....I was under the
impression that there would be problems from doing this
or at least from MS point of view...If ya get a sec....I am just
curious to know....
