graphics program

hello!!

i'm back with another question!! i need a graphics program like photoshop 7 but free not sharewear,and i also need a program that has properties for animation. perferably both programs in one.

hey , one more question.... is any one else having problems with ie 7 freezing up on them? i don't think it's our computer just had the thing refurbished, but we have dsl and could it be our box causing our problems... it's like some times it works and some times it doesn't. hopefully it will be replaced tomarrow. and yes i have a virus and spywear protection.

the GIMP is a great photoshop substitute, dunno about the animation stuff tho

On the IE7 issue, a LOT of people have issues with IE7. I'd uninstall it via add/remove programs (via control panel) and see if using IE6 will fix your issue.

i was wondering ... i was hoping it wasn't this computer .... it seems to cause a lot of freeze ups and usually when i/m in the middle of something .. quite annoying.. we had ie 6 before if i do remove 7 do i just go back to mircosoft and get 6 back? i'm not sure i can get it back from yahoo.. that's where i d/l it from.
