Greetings and a suggestion to make an update checker tool

Greetings

I've been visiting Majorgeeks a long time now,
and it has been most helpful informing about the latest software releases (especially through the rss feed).
It's awesome that it's always updated as soon as it can be.

One suggestion:
how about creating an update checker tool
that will check the system for installed programs
and then against your database, for available updates?
It would make an awesome tool, especially with your always-up-to-date database.

I know that there are update checkers already

but I believe that, exactly because MG is always one (or more!) steps ahead,
an update checker by MG would be the greatest of them all
