grey rectangle when playing movie in WMP

    I am suddenly getting a small light grey rectangle (~1x2") when playing movie in WMP.
    I am using winXPsp3 and latest v11 of WMP.
    Avi files are affected, and movies i have watched that I know were good, are affected.
