I know that technically, this doesn't belong in the networking folder, but it is to do with group policies I think.
My organisation has GPOs set up. However, on the local machines, whenever a user browses a folder, a new window pops up (so for every folder within the folder, a new window will open). I can not see anywhere in the GPOs where this would be enabled / disabled (and as I wasn't the original person to set them up, I can not say this is where i did it). The person who did set it up is no longer with us, so i can't even ask him, as he won't help out.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

check out control panel in the folder options. general tab has a check box to either open folders in the same window or a different window. im not too sure how to set the GP for it though unless i was actually looking at it.
