I hit a very arkward bug that I couldn't for the life of me find a 'logical workaround' for...

I went to the gym one day to bulk CJ up (those freakin' driving extra missions, taxi, fire engine, pimpin can take so long without a chance to eat that by the time I finished a couple of them CJ had practically wasted away..) so I get to the gym and do a workout until it tells me I've reached my limit. Go off, do some stuff or whatever, and then came back the next day and it still told me I was at my daily limit... Annoyingly this persisted throughout the game, and made it hard to adjust the look and appearance of CJ to meet the womens requirements...

Not that that was too important to me... :p

As for random freezes, I never saw those... is your PS2 in reasonable condition?

I'm trying to remember if I had any freeze-ups on my game play and cannot remember any; however, I did have some problems of slow down like it was too much for the processor to handle the information coming to it. I'm thinking it was a little too much for the PS2, but then again I did finish all the main missions, but not all the other sub-missions yet.

I don't think theres many other games whcih have pushed the PS2 this hard - which is why I wonder if the PS2 could be the weakest link...

I used to get random lock-ups where it would freeze and say something like "Error reading GTA: San Andreas disc". It would start up again after bout ten to thirty seconds later. My PS2 then died - for bout two months. Gave up playin everything. Went back to it a few weeks ago out of boredom, and everything worked fine! Recently started a new game in SA and no lock-ups so far....Strange, but anyway....

Is there any scratches on the disc or anything like that? If not I'm guessing its the PS2. How long have you had it? A few friends of mine are on their second PS2. One of them has had three!
