I have had a GTX295 in my PC for about 6 weeks now and in the last week it has started to run warmer than before.
It is folding 24/7 but i have always done that, it is not overclocked so that's not the problem.
It has good ventilation and i have installed extra fans in an attempt to get it to run cooler but to no avail.
I have pulled it out and made sure it is clean so now i am stuck. any suggestions please?

What software are you using to monitor it?

i have managed to get it down using EVGA but as you can see the fans are at 100%
but i would like to find out why it is so hot under load?

Do you feel OK with replacing the thermal paste, as this may have failed.

The Cpu is running at an OK temp and the case is also cool it's just the GPU

I am really glad your around to help Augie.

I don't feel so bad after reading that, It's maybe that there are 2 cards in the 295 very close together that they run hotter than the 260.
I have been holding off the VMware because of the heat so now maybe i will give it a try and warm up the CPU as well.:-D
