Ya know Fred, I'm still against owning military type guns or concealed carrying, but the reality is that living next door to you and with the longest unprotected border in the world, the pot goes south and arms go north with the normal guy beset with such draconian laws that one couldn't defend one's home if needed.

The djinn has already been let out of the bottle, so let's get real now and stop pretending that it's still 'Canada the good'.:cry

I guess that's called an epiphany. *sigh*

 

:-D I won't take the bait. It does bother me that someone could not be able to defend their home. Perhaps the Canadian government will rethink things, or the citizens will vote in better politicians.

The humor in this is great, what if it was a Fred_G free zone, or a Politician free zone when they are fund raising...

I posted this for the humor, not the gun aspect. I am sure everyone has a "insert item" Free Zone idea.

 

Do you mean if there was no military left and all was anarchy and all that was left was the 'irregulars'? It would end a lot sooner than that. There will be resource wars in the near future.

 

I will never, ever understand the mindset of the gun control advocate that thinks limiting a law abiding citizen's access to firearms will somehow result in a lower crime rate . . . or even fewer gun-related crimes. Especially in the face of statistics that show just the opposite. rolleyes
