Windows Security Update....

I already downloaded it, but it keeps telling me it cant instal it and it pops up all the time on my taskbar and its growing bothersome.

can someone help me?

plus even after i remove my spyware after i reboot it comes back. its only when i open aim that the pop ups come up and the ie pops with with a hijacked web brower even tho i use firefox

and how do i get rid of this trojanbookmarker? norton says its there and deletes 2 of them like 10 times a day.

help a retard.

spyware can cause problems with the install of SP2. so lets get rid of that stuff first.

i did what you said, and it seems that the hijacked homepage and spyware when i start up AIM has gone...

Should be on Windows Update.

Anyway, there is someone else with a thread from the other day with the same problem. The reigstry is probably not being updated properly to show it installed.

I have SP2, so I can't send you a working registry key.

SP2 includes the update, you might want to look into it?

that is the file for multiple pc's in the link. boo. it tells me to do a windows update and it just tells me to instal that security file, and it wont work.

 

ok i did the steps in that link. it went away.

its back now.

and i still cant install the shit on windows update.
