Hack 'Microsoft Sound Recorder' 4 record > 60sec ?

    Using 'Microsoft Sound Recorder' v5.1 (Build2600.xpsp_sp3_qfe.130704... see attached scrnshot), and wondering if there may be any way to hack the program/registry/etc to record continuously for longer than 60sec, ie without having to hit the 'red button' (see scrnshot) for each 60sec extension ? :-o
    Thoughts ?

    Back in Win 98SE days I succeeded in extending it as much as I wanted and since you posted I've been unsuccessfully racking my brains trying to remember how. However I have found THIS and that is indeed how I did it. Hopefully you will be able to adapt the method to XP.

    May need to look at something like that.
    Still need to try (and hope its simple) the 'hack'...
    Would rather not add more 'stuff' to my PC/XP, but at least there are options. :wave
