Half life is the shiznat

Well, over the past 2 days, i have played half life from start to finish, it was very fun. The best gameplay ever, IMO. If the graphics were up to modern specs, with some modern gaming engine doing the driving, this would be even better.
Of course, when i installed it, it told me it had compatability problems with my version of windows. So, I updated it, but i still had some sound and video problems, which i figured out how to get around. Very awesome game; but can I only install one mod at a time, and do i need to reinstall halflife in order to try a different mod?

 

You can install as many mods as you like and they will all get along quite well. Have you tried HL Multiplayer yet? If not, why not stop by my server for a few frags?

I have installed a few interesting mods on the server which adds to the fun of an already great multiplayer game. We run mostly all custom maps here so when you connect, the server will automatically download the map for you. As soon as you enter the game, you will see a list of all the maps we run as well as where you can download them from the Net. This is a lot faster than getting them from the game server.
