Half-life problem

Got a good one. This happened to me awile back I just can't remember how I fixed it. Just reinstalled half-life when I enter the cd-key and press enter, my computer restarts.Does'nt matter what cd-key I use it always restarts.

I'm guessing your typing your cd-key into steam, well I can't give you a direct way to fix it, but you could try this... go to a friends house and register your steam account there, then go back to you house and just log-in you'll have the games there too, hope it helps.

 

Check your drivers for your graphics card, also what are your specs?

And when you say cd keys, do you mean you have more than one for the game that you bought or was it obtained illegally?

 

Thanks guys it was the videocard drivers. To answer your question I have 4 cd-keys and yes all legal as hell.
