ok so I got my M2N4 SLI mobo, and a new 500W power supply and a few other parts but not so essential to the problem (I think)

when I installed the mobo/ps, the mobo is geting juice because the standby light and the tower lights are coming on.

however. none of the fans kick in (even the powersupply fan), and nothing else runs. I'm very confused. help?

all the cables are secure, and correctly placed so far as myself and the manual can tell me. I'm prett lost.

Well for everything to be working correctly the PSU has to supply various voltages such as +/-12V, +/-5V and 3.3V. So you could test the PSU to see if it is supplying the correct voltages just in case you got a duff one.
