half ram recognized??

    I just installed an MSI PM8Pm-V mobo and it only recognized half my memory minus 64mb?? So I installed a biostar P4M800Pro mobo.. and same thing happened>??? any suggestions.. it sees only half no matter how much i put in. Ram tested fine in other systems?? ddr2 is memory?? celeron 3.46
