For Halloween trick or treating with the kids, I painted my own face too. (and you get a look at what I did to my hair! )

Here's Kolya for her school's party. I think with all the different parties she went to, she must have dressed up 3-4 different times!

That last picture just cracks me up. I remember I came home, sat down, took my shoes off, and then looked up at Drexel, who was looking at me, trying to smile, hoping I wasn't going to be mad, and there he was, with all that marker all over his face, all I could do was laugh out loud. It was pretty funny.

 

Here's one I took of the bat. They were fruit bats (like Stellaluna!) and they were actually kinda cute. Their faces look like a chihuahua or a fox, and I couldn't believe how tolerant they were about being held and showed around.

 

The one picture with the marker all over his face is hysterical. I can just picture an older sibling doing something like that to there brother or sister, and then saying "Go show mommy my art!" lol. Looks like you had a great time for halloween

 

That's exactly what happened. She was so proud that she hardly even considered that I might not be too thrilled. They were so funny that I couldn't be mad. I just laughed and grabbed the camera.

 

I had it like this 6 or 7 years ago except that the blonde wasn't so red, it was more white-blonde. With the dye already on my hair, the bleach wouldn't take too well. I like the effect of how it fades into the red though. I'd like to leave it like this for a while. Last time, I had to dye it all one color for a friend's wedding and just never went back to it. I've been joking around that this is my mid-life crisis since I just turned 30

 

Hehe. Love Kolya's Drexel artwork. Will this become a holiday tradition? Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner...

At that age my sister and I were that close, although I was the older/instigator. Once I "fixed" my sister's long hair by rolling it up in a comb, and got it so tangled they had to cut the comb out, and cut off most of her hair to even it out. LOL. "Little sister" now has a PHD and is a vice provost at a good sized university. Somehow I don't think she'd sit still for such things today.

 

Kolya "curled" her hair the other day with a comb. Thankfully it was a small one and I was able to break it into small enough pieces to get it out of her hair. When I was a few years older than her, I tried curling my hair one night with a whole multi pack of unbreakable combs. I think there were a dozen of the things in there. I had combs sticking out all over the place and couldn't lay down to sleep, so I tried to take them out, but they were completely tangled up. My big brother helped me get a few of them out, but then we had to go downstairs and get help from Mom and Dad. Must have been around 11:00 at night. I remember Dad getting the bolt cutters out to break the unbreakable combs out of my hair. Believe it or not, I don't think I lost much hair from that one.

Now, another time, my younger cousin got curious with the scissors and took a nice chunk of hair out of the back of my head. It took me years to forgive him for that!

This is Princess Cinderella in her cloak and gown

 

We went to the mall to trick or treat because it was colld and raining and the neighborhoods are bad... So Cinderella wanted to drive the ARK at the quarter ride cars.

 

This is her faithful monkey sidekick - Possible the cutest little chub-chub in the entire world, My baby brother Aaron. He's going to be two in december! I remember when he was just a few months old and sleeping on my chest... time flies...

 

And last but not least, this is just a dress up picture, I think from her birthday party, but it was wicked wicked cute. And thats all from me.
