Halo 2 Finished

The production for halo 2 has been finished, now all they have to do is get ready to ship them out in november. I warn you though, Bungies website is extremely not dial up friendly. It barely runs on my dsl. I hate when companies make websites like this, its terrible. but anyway, here's the full story.

Its not that it doens't come up fast, its just that when you scroll it is laggy a lot because of all the frames and graphics. and thats what i dont like about it. and thats its a dark color so you'll have a hard time printing.

Im sure this is a dumb question but i was wondering. Is this game comin out on PC or not??

 

it will be out on pc but fisrt release will be on xbox.

 

I've got an Xbox, so I won't have to wait for the PC version.

There is even doubt that Microsoft will allow a PC version to be released. They make so much of the XBOX that it is a hassel for them to go through with the PC version. If they did decide now to go through with a PC version it would be at least a year. This is the same as the first Halo. It was released on XBOX a year or more before it came to PC. All we can do is wait, and hope.

man, i always like pc games much better then console games. for me its just much easier playin with mouse and keyboard as it is to play with controlers. the only thing i like about consoles is u can take anywhere, like to friends house with lots of ppl and have like a tournement(me=champion), lol. I really hope that they will consider making a pc version for people like me. I will still buy and xbox and halo2 because i cant get enough of halo, lol.

 

as far as looks go PC was better, but as far as the fun factor, i think Xbox was much better

 

yeah i agree, i think its fun to use the controllers instead of a mouse and keyboard. the halo pc version had better graphics, but it wasn't as fun to play

 

for me, its just easier to aim on halo with a mouse then a controller. but i guess we all have our preferences.

 

yeah i think its just as easy but theres nothing like spending a sunday afternoon playing some four player action with your friends in halo, the PC version just cant offer the ease of that, if you all wanted to play the pc version together thats a full blown lan party

 

Either way (PC or Xbox), I'll be playing it.

 

i totally agree with you clarkey, it could be that since i haven't tried halo on xbox that im just sticking to the pc version. im seriously thinking about buying an xbox just because of halo2.

 

im skipping but mine wont get here til like the 11th or 12th cuz i preordered mine online and it has 2 day shipping, i might skip a week depends how long it takes me to beat it, i think i should start polishing up on my halo skills now so im ready for a new challenge, i have been spending too much time playing ninja gaiden

 

ppl are having a skip day just for halo2? omg, where have i been. if i had xbox and halo2 on nov9 i would skip too. i need an xbox to just fall outa the sky and land in my living room and just automatically hook up to my 48" big screen, lol. and when nov 9 rolls around the game gets accidently mailed to my mail box and everything would be cool. i would be a happy man.

oh yeah im playing on the big screen in my house, a 55" high def, but i wont leave it there long cuz then i wont get much playing time but for the 1st couple days or two i will i will have to settle for my 32" tv.

Dont!!!! go to yahoo and then go to shopping and then look up halo 2. There are some individual stores on the net that not many have heard of that have it for like $40 and you can preorder it there. And since they aren't well known youc an assume they will haev some. and if you dont like shopping at unknown places, dont worry. they are run by yahoo services. so that way if you have a complaint you can complain right to yahoo and they will sort it out with the store. I haev bought all my games this way and I haven't had a single problem!

I just picked upthe latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine. They have a Halo 2 review and I just want to ask if you wanna know what they thought or not.

Nah, I wouldn't do that. Besides, I know just as much as you do. Anyway, OXM gave it a 9.7 out of 10. That's exactly what GameSpot gave the original Halo. Ironic? They have a secrets page, but it's folded in and it warns you before you open it.

OMG, we had lan party with halo2 at friends house, holy sh!t, best game ever made.

YES I GOT IT! I'm on the 3rd level and I'm takin' a multiplayer break. It is awesome.
