being a home built system, have you installed the chipset, video, sound drivers etc...

If so, it may be a heat problem. After your system crashed, reload immediately and go into the bios setup and look for your cpu temp.

Also, a crappy power supply or ram can cause frequent lockups. You could always try "memtest". Should be available on this site, it will check your memory for you. If it comes up with an error, then either the power supply is bad or the ram is bad (bad power supplies can cause memory problems).

Check your bios settings also, if you have tried to overclock or use memory timings that are too aggressive, that can cause problems.

You could also be running clean out of memory, either on your PC or VGA card (probably the VRAM). If its happens more on legendary then all the little aliens could be filling up the memory. Try turning the settings down.

sorry for the delay in responding...

I ran memtest to 200% and had no errors... BUT..

yesterday while browsing the web I got A BLUE SCREEN:eek: ...

    it said this:

    Memory_Management

    ***STOP: 0x0000001a(0x00000781,0x0030ee80,0x00000000,0xe10fc000)

    then it dumped Phisical memory...

    so uah...

If it's the first time you got this, or if it's been a while since, ignore it, it happens to everyone. (especially pulling XP out of standby etc)

If you want to investigate it, our very own Adrynalyne has written a guide HERE.
