My Windows 7 hangs when shutting down, where it is displaying "Shutting Down...". I have to power off at that time to turn it off, and the same when trying to restart. Also the Window Update program hangs. When I try to open it, it shows blank window with title "Windows Update", but it just shows the spinning wait and never open further. I can only close this via task manager. This problem is on windows 7 Pro 64bit. It started happening about a week ago. Can't think of anything that was installed at that time.
I followed the complete procedure in the Malware Removal guide and I thought it was fixed. I performed windows updates successfully and also it would shut down and also restart fine. Then a day later the same problems reappeared.
I am attaching the logs created when I ran the Malware Removal procedures.
Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Tim, Thanks for getting back to me so soon!
I Reset FF to defaults. Tried Windows Update and it is still hanging.
I have attached the log from ADWCleaner when I ran it a few days ago when following the Malware removal procedure.
    Regards/Steve

Not finding any malware in your logs. I suggest you post in the software forum for additional assistance.

Since you are not having other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Re-enable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 or 10 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
