Hangup about Hangups

Hello people,

This time it is a problem with *my* computer. As of late, it has taken to completely hanging up in Mozilla Firefox whenever I get to a website such as Ebay, Hotmail, or Facebook - basically any of the sites I need a login for (I'm not sure if it does it with this one). Sometimes it seems to hangup as I am about to login, or as soon as the login panel appears on any of the aforementioned websites. I was thinking its a software issue causing a hardware problem, but I really have no idea.
