Thanks so much for the happy wishes, guys. I wasn't able to play golf today, because when you get to 69, you get a little stupid. Ready for this???
I'm out in front yard yesterday, trimming tops of trees with electric hedger when I leaned just a skosh too far on a 10 foot ladder ----- Yep, I fell 7 or 8 feet and landed (thankfully) on my right side on grass, not the concrete sidewalk. But I fell across the ladder. Yesterday was NOT fun. Couldn't breathe very well all day and night (mostly COPD but also ribs).
Saw my GP pal this am and he thought I had bruised some ribs. Just for fun he ran an x-ray with rib detail ------ sure, 3 broken ribs laterally. 6,7,8.
Talk about stupid. I can NEVER try to be a Geek, now, after all this.

Thanks again guys. I'll be visiting you more, now that I can't swing a golf club for a month or so.

I have to say though....uhmmm...well....I'm glad you're ok and will be visiting more but my gosh! What were you thinking? j/k LOL I guess it's better than the old days when you used to do stuff like playing stunt man on a snowmobile.:-D

All in all...I hope she who must be obeyed makes your day extra special...oh..and what did she get you for your birthday this year? She gives great prezzies!:major

 

She DOES give the sweetest presents. One of them this year was a new, spare pair of SuperLite FootJoy Golf Shoes so I can rotate them and such (that is, if I ever get to play again)
