    Thanks guys! No idea these posts were here, no emails. We went out for our first restaurant meal since God knows when. It was good to get out and it has taken away some of the reluctance to take any unnecessary risks. For good measure we were even subsidised by the Chancellor to the tune of £20, their latest effort to get us all out of our homes and spending again.

    Thankfully I have never felt or looked my age but at 83 I'm having to accept that time has finally caught up with me, and it's noticeable that my wife, understandably perhaps, has become much more inquisitive than ever before as to how this, that and the other work. :D

    I know how you feel. We too celebrated my b-day in late July with our first trip to a restaurant!!!
