Thanks mate....I had my party last night with family and friends....a couple of cheese and fruit platters with a few bottles of champagne for starters then a big roast dinner with a couple of nice bottles of red wine and then some black forest birthday cake with coffee and port for sweets....yum yum

Thanks mate and the cake was great.....hmmm I haven't had a White Russian since the 1970s. In those days Black Russians were usually my drink of choice but if I was out somewhere fancy then I would usually have a White Russian or three lol

Another popular 70s drink was the Harvey Wallbanger and if you were going green then it had to be a Grasshopper or the other green drink I can't remember but it is made with Midori......I must be getting old timers disease lol
Looking back the cocktails were so cheap in the 70s........ compared to today's prices
