Happy New Year To Me

On Christmas, I broke the crown off my tooth. Went to the dentist on Wednesday(could finally get in) It was infected and he gave me antibiotics to take.
Well, the swelling was getting worse instead of better. I look like a chipmunk with one cheek full of nuts.
Called this morning, nurse thought he would just give me a different antibiotic.
Instead, she calls back and I go in at 2 o'clock to have tooth pulled.
I am a big chicken anyways, but am a nervous wreck now.

Join the club, I've had a raging abscess around and under the roots of wisdom tooth since before Christmas. I too, have had the ol' antibiotics and had it lanced (ouch!!). Healing real slow, but it does seem to be on the (gradual) mend.

Hope ya get better soon. Bad teeth are no fun, I'll admit.

Oh gee Gal..so sorry to hear you are having dental problems. I think everybody has at least some fear of the dentist...hope everything is as painless as possible and that you heal quickly.
