I think that when the computer is under heavy memory load, the hard disk or motherboard beeps (quietly), but not from the speakers (&comp may freeze).
The problem is I ran a hd cheker and it reports no problems.
windows log viewer says otherwise -

So I guess my problem is the hard drive with the paging file (virtual memory).
I have run windows chkdsk & scandsk, but it doesnt do anything.
Can anyone suggest (in layman terms) a drive tool to use, or what to do now, as it needs sorting out as i have only 1 computer and itis my work and livlihood.
    thanks
