So I just built a new system today, and for some unknown reason, my computer thinks my permanent hard drive is removeable. I have an icon in my system tray that gives me the option of stopping my hard drive before i remove it. It lists the HD identification and the 2 partitions in the stop/remove list.

How do i stop my computer from thinking that my hard drive is a removable device?

If it matters, the BIOS lists it as channel 3 master. My roomy thinks it should be channel 1.

    Ideas?
