    HI guys,

I have to do an unexpected upgrade to my studio machine... and since it is unexpected there is much on my main HD i do not want to loose in the new OS installation. I am putting in this Motherboard in and a new processor because the old MB died. I have one IDE hard drive, and 1 sata in the old system, I am bringing those forward. I would like to Not loose anything on those two drives. I want to add an 80gig sata hd for the sole purpose of housing windows.

How would I add the third drive...
do i merely plug it in and make the old dominant hd a slave... and the new clean hd the new dominant?

I am suffering over exposure to thinking and cannot muster through this.

    Thanks!
    Wicked

Could not use your old drive as master with a new motherboard and processor unless they were exactly identical to the old ones.
Too many differences for the OS to put up with, configuration and driver wise.
