hard drive crashed

Is there any way to retrive my programs from a crashed hard drive? It will boot, loads XP very slowly, and then crashes. I do have access to another computer for a short time, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

First off, stop trying to boot with the drive. Take it out of your computer and hook it up as a slave and try to get all your data off of it as quickly as you can. Unstopable copier might help you. It near the bottom of the page in this link: http://majorgeeks.com/downloads38.html

You might find some of the other programs usefull. Time is not your friend when using a bad hard drive. You may have mins, hours, days, or no time to access the drive. :cry
