Installing a second hard drive- any advice on hookups? Sony desktop VGC-RC210G (aka Vaio)- has easy access to the large hard drive area (model with the air gap on bottom between that & the main component area)- came with two hard drives; previously one went bad & was removed by a computer repair shop- but now I'd like to install a 300GB HD (seagate serial ATA) as a second drive- just not sure what plugs to use- there are two spare cords w/ connectors- one has P7 & P8 on it, the other is smaller, white & appears to be a power cord- the 1st hard drive has a "P9" cord & a smaller red power cord going to it..any tips are immensely appreciated!!:-o

Sata drives data cord plugs directly to the motherboard and are about a half inch in width, the power plug comes from the power supply and is more like an inch in width. each plug and socket are notched so the data and power plugs can only go on in one direction on the drive and motherboard.
