    Hello again.
The other day I started experiencing HD problem's. (Clicking) At first I thought it was a slave drive so I moved all data from slave's to an external drive, still no change. So now I'm thinking it's the primary drive.
I've ran AVG, MRT, RemoveIt, SuperAntiSpyware... I've de-fraged & cleaned up & even used SpeedFan to check the drive status. (nominal)
Can someone give me some insight into the stat's given by SpeedFan.

I'm in the process of putting ASR on one of the slave's ready to swap for the primary. Will Xp need to be re-installed or will ASR do it all? (I've never used ASR due to lack of drive space).

A system reinstall wouldn't help with drive clicking. It could be a sign of one of your drives failing. How old are the drives?

Hi-ya. Sorry about the LONG wait, I had to swap a slave with the master & re-install because the noise was driving me nuts... that & fear of system failure. rolleyes
No ASR either because it didn't want to run. (it kept asking for diskette)
I've put the presumed knackered drive in & I'm gonna try a few app's on it, see how it fairs.
No clicking at the moment. Finger's crossed. :)
