Hard Drive Issues

    I have a Lacie 500gb drive (HFS+) which I now have some issues with.

    My PC can see the drive and the folders on the drive but all files within the folders are gone.
    Also I now have a red dot on top of the drive Icon.

    What direction should I go to recover the files?
