hard drive not recognized

    Hi All.
    My computer was working fine when I shut it down last night, but to-day it will not recognize my SATA drive in my computer, I can see it in disk management and partition magic, but that's all, it has all my backups on it. any ideas guys.

    Sounds like it may somehow have lost its drive letter. Can you give it a new one in disk management? Would also be helpful if you provided some info about your OS and service pack.
