crash to restart. with no load on the system. always happens as my mouse stops working. i did a disk error check and all was fine, i'll do a recover sectors tonite. any help plz ??? jeffs

That might help pinpoint the issue, doesn't look good though.

 

cheers satrow, i read this on that link you provided. 2) Ensure that the machine is adequately cooled. If there is any doubt, open up the side of the PC case (be mindful of any relevant warranty conditions!) and point a mains fan squarely at the motherboard. That will rule out most (lack of) cooling issues.

its been a cooler day here and no crashes. im going to give it a good cleaning (its a dust bunny nest and maybe rats too) im hoping and praying thats all it needs.

SOLVED; all my pc needed was a good clean !!!

 

Excellent news - now keep it that way, take it out every few months for a good blow out, consider fitting filters to the air intakes, too.

 

damn, i never thought of filters. my pc has holes on the top too. i have some old speaker cabinets in the basement i can use for filters
