Hard Drive prob.

    I found a 1.5 T external hardrive in my garage, it was loaded with all stuff, I do not need, formatted it, now can't install anything on the disk, shows up in device manage and says the device is working, yet when I try to install NEW Folder" nothing.T.I.A.

    What is the make and model of the computer you are trying to use it on? What is the make and model of the hard drive? What version of Windows are you running including service pack? Please.

    Probably on its last leg. Not good to throw stuff like electronics out in garages or up in attics.
