hard drive problem

    I think I fried my hard drive and I did not save my files is there any way to retrieve my files?

    Kind of depends on what you mean by "fried".

    Perhaps you can slave it to another computer and save / transfer your files.

    the things is my computer will not even load windows, its trying to load it but it keeps going to the screen where it ask you if you want to restart on last working setting or something like that.

    That does not necessarily mean your hard drive is fried. I am moving your post to software.

    Try safe mode and last configuration that worked first, doesn't sound like the drive is fried, it just can't boot into Windows for some reason. Your Windows installation disk, the recovery console, or a live cd might also prove to be useful in troubleshooting.
