Hard drive space

Hi, I get message that C hard drive is running low on space. I have deleted lot of stuff off this drive. Can I make this hard drive larger if I take to someone and they can upgrade my computer? Should I buy an external C drive for more space? I love this computer and have deleted much stuff so I don't know what to do. I do a lot of downloads and readings and so forth. Can someone help? have u done disk cleanup and also cleared out the TEMP folder? after that try disk defrag?

 

1. You could always buy another Hard Drive and connect it to your pc as a slave.
2. But if you want to clear up more space run Disk Cleanup
3. You can also try uninstalling applications you dont use.
4. If you have System Restore enabled you can free up disk space by cleaning out all but the most recent point.
Go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup>More Options and then youll see the System Restore tab.
5. Defragment yor drive.
6. Download and run one or more of these programs. Each find stuff the others miss.
CCleaner
Cleanup!
MRU-Blaster
Empty Temp Folders
