Hard Drive Squeaks

A couple days ago I replaced my system. At boot up in the morning there is a continuing but random squeak. After removing the side and getting close I finally determined the squeak is coming from the hard drive. The squeak appears to be completely random and roughly every 15 sec or so. Occasionally, once or twice a day, the squeak becomes orderly, squeaking about every sec or 2. When that happens action on the screen is locked up and I must shut down by holding the start button in until the system shuts off, wait a few seconds and start back up. The reboot button does not clear the problem. Obviously the hard drive is having problems and we fixing to remedy that. None of the techs have experienced this before and nobody has any guesses of what may be causing the situ. In the grand scheme of things I guess that's OK, but I am a bit curious as to what may be going on. Any ideas, comments, or suggestions any would care to offer about this will be greatly appreciated. If it were me, I would return the drive for exchange. If you recently replaced your system, I assume that means the hard drive to and it should still be under warranty.

As far as I know, you can't fix a mechanical drive issue. God knows you don't want to take them apart. Besides that would void the warranty anyway.

Just trying to get to a point where I can be without the system for a day or two and get files backed up to server.
