hard drive, tried everything

STILL 137gb

e6600 + pb5 deluxe + maxtor 300 ultra ata

1 hooked up to first sata port on motherboard...

2 got sp2 and after it didn't go away went and installed the big_drive.reg from maxtor's site...

3 lga/lba, whatever, it's on in the bios...

partition magic clone shows the empty space but will windows show it to be 278gb after running it? i don't want to *acquire magic if it isn't going to fix... or if their are any free utilities or trials?
